ABOUT US

JMW Associates is a small, privately-owned consulting and professional services firm that provides clients excellent service in the areas of human resource management (HRM) and organization development (OD).  We are located in the metropolitan Saint Louis area.  We deliver value to our clients by bringing our expertise to bear on problems and issues that clients cannot solve by themselves.  JMW Associates subscribes to the basic principles of outstanding responsiveness to our clients, partnership with our clients, hard work, and ethical business conduct.  We also believe that expertise and speed both count in customized service delivery, and we perform accordingly. 

The "JMW" in our firm's name is Dr. James M. Wilkerson, the founder and president of JMW Associates.  Jim Wilkerson has over 25 years' experience in HRM, OD, payroll service bureau management, and consulting.  He is currently Director of the Master of Science in Management Practice (MSMP) degree program, as well as a management professor, at Greenville College.  Jim has been an HR/OD professional in a variety of managerial, executive, and consultant roles with several manufacturing and service companies.  He has also served in the U.S. Air Force as an ICBM combat crew commander, evaluator, and trainer.  Jim earned his Ph.D. in organizational behavior and HRM from the Georgia Institute of Technology, his MBA from the University of Missouri, and his BS in HRM from the University of Alabama.  Jim is a lifetime certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).  His research has been published in, among other outlets, Journal of Management Development, Journal of Occupational and Organizational Psychology, Journal of Applied Social Psychology, Psychological Reports, and Shared Leadership: Reframing the Hows and Whys of Leadership (2003, Sage Publications).  Jim is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management and the Christian Business Faculty Association.
